Cotel debe autorizar la transmisión del Mundial
El presidente del Consejo de Administración de Cotel, Fabián Guillén Rubín de Celis, informó ayer a La Razón que las empresas interesadas en transmitir el Mundial 2014 deberán solicitar esos derechos, por tener ellos la exclusividad.
Añadió que a la Cooperativa de Teléfonos La Paz (Cotel) le costó $us 2,5 millones tener la exclusividad para transmitir imágenes del evento deportivo, ya que tiene un contrato con la empresa Fragola Overseas.
“Es una inversión demasiado grande que obviamente las empresas interesadas tendrán que venir a Cotel y solicitar que les podamos ceder los derechos”, advirtió el ejecutivo.
La estatal Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Entel) anunció días atrás que también transmitirá el Mundial 2014 a través del satélite Túpac Katari (TKSAT-1). Guillén reiteró que tienen la “exclusividad” en las ciudades de La Paz, El Alto y Viacha.
